The Girl Scout Junior Troop 632 of Service Unit No. 13 hosted a Girl Scout camping trip open to Junior Scouts, Mar. 19-21, at Markham Park in Sunrise. Troops 632, 98, 73, 376, 14 and 296 attended. The camping trip included crafts, paddle boating, swimming, skits, campfire, nature trails, games. The girls helped prepare their own meals. U.S. Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen led all the troops in a moving flag "retirement" ceremony. The Congresswoman participated in the trip and ceremony as a mother of one of the girls in Troop 98.
