Cobia 206 Coastal Deck updated with new dash, seating.
Cobia has introduced several new deck designs that set
a new standard in the deck-boat market.
226 COASTAL DECK
On the new 226 Coastal Deck, Cobia borrowed from its experience in
designing offshore fishing boats to create a new concept in deck boat
design, one that is sure to appeal to any angler.
Rather than a traditional starboard helm, the 226
Coastal Deck has a center console that's better suited for fishing,
but doesn't sacrifice seating capacity. Also unique is the under-gunnel
rod storage, the recirculating livewell, insulated fish box and plenty
of dry storage for tackle and other fishing gear.
The 226 Coastal Deck also has outside fishing
platforms at the bow and stern to accommodate anglers who need room to
cast or play a hooked fish.
The hull lines are clean to avoid snagging lines and a
specially-designed motor well surrounds the outboard so fishermen at
the stern can fish around the transom without tangling lines. It also
reduces engine noise while underway.
The boat has more freeboard, allowing anglers to
really lean into a big fish. There is still plenty of comfortable
bench seating wrapping around the bow and stern. And, Cobia has added
non-skid decking under the cushions to provide sure footing for all
anglers when fishing is the primary activity. Simply remove the
cushions and the 226 becomes a serious fishing boat.
206 COASTAL DECK
The popular Cobia 206 Coastal Deck has been updated with new deck
seating and a redesigned dash at the helm. The traditional lounge
seating has been replaced with wrap around seating and color matched
graphics, upholstery, and a padded steering wheel give the 206 a
sleek, attractive appearance. The result is greater comfort for
passengers whether cruising, skiing or entertaining at the dock.
The console is fully-instrumented with a molded
windscreen and bucket seat, slip cushion and footwell for greater
comfort. Storage space is available in the storage cabinet, ski locker
and anchor storage compartment. The 206 Coastal Deck also features an
aft dinette table and 48-quart cooler for entertaining.
256 COASTAL DECK
The 256 Coastal Deck is Cobia's top-of-the line deck boat and measures
24-feet-four inches in length, room enough for 12 people. The 256
Coastal Deck will handle a crowd with ease with its 250 horsepower
rating.
The boat is loaded with amenities and features new wrap around
seating, plenty of storage for skis, water toys and related gear. For
entertaining, there's an aft cockpit table with drink holders, a
48-quart built-in cooler, a pressurized freshwater system, a galley
sink with a cutting board and a food preparation area.
A five-year transferable hull warranty is a standard feature and all
Cobia boats feature reliable Yamaha outboard power.
