The first tower of the Ritz-Carlton hotel-condominium
project on 27th Avenue in Coconut Grove is nearing the top of its
22-story construction. Workers currently are laboring on the 20th
story and already have built the adjacent twin tower to the 12th
floor. Completion of the mammoth project is slated for May of next
year. The first tower, located nearest to Biscayne Bay, will hold 131
luxury condominium apartments, ranging from $650,000 to $2.5 million
each. The second tower will house a hotel on the first eight floors.
