She's only six-years old, but Pinecrest's Chanelle
Nguyen already has established herself, copping beauty contests and
garnering talent awards almost from the day she was born. Chanelle,
shown here celebrating a birthday on January 19, was third runner up
as a baby in a 1994 Universal Model and Talent Search, won the
Sunburst Beauty Pageant as a two-year-old and was a finalist in South
Florida Parenting Magazine's search for cover kids when she was three
years old. With maturity, Chanelle's interests turned to music and
sports.
The Pinecrest Elementary School first grader recently
won an award in the MARS Young Musicians Talent Showcase for her piano
play, then captured another accolade from the Delray Beach Tennis
Center for her promising court strokes. Chanelle's parents, Letty and
Tam, are justifiably proud.
