Just 12 students made St. Louis Covenant School's First and Second
honor rolls for the school year's first two grading quarters.
Principal Patricia Nord identified the high-achieving youngsters
and noted that making the First Honor Roll requires a student to score
an A grade in all major subjects and a minimum of a B in minor
subjects, conduct and effort.
Only two people reached the coveted First Honor Roll in the
first-quarter grading period. They were Morgan Bjerke and Francis
Parsons. Bjerke and Parsons repeated in the second quarter and were
joined by Matthew Tomonto.
Nord said the Second Honor Roll requirements were only slightly
less demanding and that a student must achieve a minimum grade of B in
all subjects, in conduct and in effort.
A total of seven students attained the Second Honor Roll in both
the first and second quarters. Nord identified them as Danielle
Befeler, Caterina DeQuesada, Katie Dugard, Kristen Lobo, Alexa
Mangialetto, Jennifer Vamos and Nicole Wingard.
At the same time, Lisa Donna made the Second Honor Roll in the
second quarter, while Matthew Tomonto gained the roster in the first
quarter, before moving on to the First Honor Roll in the second
quarter.
