Strutting down the catwalk to the beat of The Fifth
Dimension, the Bee Gees and Will Smith, more than 250 children ages 3-
12 joined faculty and staff at a fashion show fundraiser benefitting
Saint Thomas Episcopal School, on Sun. Feb. 13 at Miami's Hotel
Inter-Continental.

Traveling down the catwalk and
through time, the models displayed fashions from the roaring 20's, swinging
40's, rock n'roll 50's, super 60's, psychedelic 70's, disco 80's, to the
90's to celebrate the school's first ever fashion show, "Back in
Style." courtesy of sponsors Macy's at the Falls, Old Navy, Oilily,
Warm Hearts, Petit Amie, The Red Apple and Miami's own vintage apparel
headquarters, Miami Twice.
"The children
thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience," said Jennifer Pfleger,
co-chair of the fashion show.. "The costumes, the music, fashions
and pageantry all came together for a terrific fundraiser, which the
children had fun participating in."
Highlights of the show included a delicious luncheon,
raffle drawing of a new Volkswagen Beetle and a silent auction
featuring jewelry, original art, sports items and
much more.
"The show was a great success, raising more than $80,000,"Pfleger
added.
Saint Thomas Episcopal Parish School is located at 5692 S.W. 88 Street in
Coral Gables. Fostering a Christian education for children in preschool
through sixth grade, the school provides an environment where children are
nurtured and challenged, learn to honor God and respect themselves and
others.
