Pinecrest resident, Congresswoman Ileana Ros-Lehtinen,
a champion in the fight against women's cancers, waged a strong fight
last week as the U.S. House of Representatives passed legislation
providing medical treatment to low-income women living with cancer.
The Congresswoman is pictured here with South Florida resident Jane
Torres, president of the Florida Breast Cancer Coalition, when Ileana
was given an award by the National Breast Cancer Coalition for her
leadership in the battle to eradicate breast cancer.
