The Scout Flats fishing series of boats combines
excellent fishing capability with superior craftsmanship to achieve
what some anglers say is the best backwater or inshore fishing boat
available.
The impressive series includes three models -- the
162, 177 and 192 and each features the quick and responsive Air
Assist hull design. The hull enables the boat to run with minimal
wetted surface area for increased performance, superior stability and
greater fuel economy.
Meantime, the low freeboard makes catch and release a
snap, while the center console design allows for hassle-free
maneuvering. The recessed fishing decks fore and aft provide excellent
visibility when searching the water for tells.
The optional poling platform is perfect for easing
into a secluded fishing hole.
Anglers also will appreciate the extra large locking
rod storage, which accommodates rods up to nine feet long. Other
standard features include an aerated livewell, recessed cleats,
ergonomically designed center console with windshield-grab rail, two
stainless steel rod holders and dry storage with a built-in tackle
