Deering Bay Yacht and Country Club has broken ground
on its new Mediterranean-influenced Siena tower.
More than 100 guests were on hand for an
Italian-themed reception to commemorate the ground breaking, including
Coral Gables Vice Mayor Jim Barker, who presented a proclamation to
the developers, architects and sales staff.
"Of the 48 residencies, almost 60 percent is sold
out," said Liz McCormick, Deering Bay Sales Director.
Deering Bay offers 220 acres of luxury living,
including golf and tennis.
Beyond the 24-hour manned gatehouse is South Florida's
only bayfront 18-hole, Arnold Palmer-designed championship golf
course, as well as three deep-water marinas.
