"One thing I've learned is that the saying that 'buyers are liars' couldn't be further from the truth," said George Bunassar, broker manager of the new Century 21 Premier International company. "Buyers always know what they want; it's just a matter of asking them the right questions," said George Bunassar, broker manager of the new Century 21 Premier International.
Bunassar has no shortage of real estate experience, so when he talks people listen. He has been in the business for 17 successful years. He spent the last 11 years with Coldwell Banker and was named to the President's Council, an extraordinary feat that less than one percent of their Realtors accomplish. Not only that, he was awarded the honor three years in a row and was the first person from Florida to make the Council. And he did all those things by simply breaking every sales record imaginable. Now Bunassar has brought his talent and reputation to Premier International of Kendall, Miami-Dade's 23rd Century 21 office. It is a move that he is very excited about. "I see Century 21 as the most recognizable name in real estate in the entire world. Now it's a matter of hiring and training the personnel to match that name recognition," he said. Bunassar, already the vice president of the Miami-Dade Century 21 Brokers Council, travels to every conference and seminar he can in order to stay on top of the rapidly evolving world of real estate, and pass along that knowledge. "We want to re-open Century 21's real estate school down here so that we can offer our agents not only preliminary training but outgoing advanced training as well. By providing our agents with the best training and supporting them with the best technology, we can assure success," he said.Bunassar's office will have several technological advantages over some of his competitors. First of all, they will be on a national database that will enable them to access every Century 21 listing available. With the Global Referral Network, they are able to check out the listings of the other Cendant companies, ERA and Coldwell Banker. Also, the program allows them to give prospective clients a total overview of the area, including education available and the quality of it, median income, crime rate, climate, houses of worship available, shopping and anything else a customer could want. "We will have the most technology available at our disposal of any firm," Bunassar said. "In addition to the neighborhood overview, we will even have every form and contract you could possibly need available at the push of a button -- anything and everything you might need to meet your needs as easily as possible. And also when I travel, I constantly keep a look out for those cutting edge technologies that might further help our clients and agents." The facilities Bunassar has secured are spacious and well equipped. The office has two conference rooms available for and the office will easily accommodate 60 to 80 agents. "We'd rather have a smaller number of top notch agents," said Bunassar. Bunassar believes that these changes will lead to a positive, productive office. "The only way to increase productivity is through creating a healthy, positive working environment," he said. "It keeps our customers happy. They notice those things, but obviously it also keeps our employees happy and will help with their retention." Bunassar geographically selected the location at 9955 N. Kendall Dr., Suite 204, because it is central to the areas of Miami-Dade that he wants to serve -- an area that extends north to Flagler Street, south to Metrozoo, east to the ocean, and west to Krome Avenue. The office, which opened Nov. 1, always is looking for outstanding agents and clients who want to take advantage of the resources it has available. "We are always looking for quality people with experience or someone who is interested in getting involved in a situation with top technical support, educational opportunities and surrounded by experienced personnel," he said. "We want to provide the best service possible to our clients. That's what this business is about. The customer is king with us. "In the past, the client had to adjust to the way the Realtor did business, but now we're able to turn that around to adapt to their needs," he said. Other services offered include property management, commercial sales, apartment rentals, shopping malls and new home/development sales.
