Pinecrest's
Junior Girl Scout Troop 492, with its Brownie and Daisy Scout sisters,
recently completed 15 miles of biking through Shark River Valley in
Everglades National Park. The girls were working toward their sports
merit badge and, at the same time, participating in Girl Sports 2000,
a national Girl Scouts USA event to promote fitness awareness in girls
of all ages. Pictured on the lower level (left to right) are Michelle
