Warren Henry Automobiles, spurred by strong sales in
1999, has opened a Land Rover dealership in South Miami-Dade County.

Warren Henry Automobiles and Classic Residence by Hyatt held an
Equestrian Show Jumping Exhibition in prelude to the Mayor's Jewelers
U.S. Open Jumper Championship on February 18 at the American Airlines
Arena.
The opening of Land Rover South Dade on a
two-and-a-half acre site at South Dixie Highway and 168 Street is the
fifth automobile dealership in the county owned by Warren Henry. The
others are Land Rover North Dade, Jaguar, Volvo and Infiniti
dealerships.
Warren Henry Automobiles, headed by President and
Chief Executive Officer Warren Henry Zinn, reportedly notched sales
topping $165 million in 1999, figures that company officials say
reflect a strong luxury automobile market in South Florida. They say
that South Florida ranks behind only New York and Los Angeles in the
sale of cars priced at $30,000 or more.
The new Land Rover location features a modern
showroom, a full-service maintenance department and a unique
120-foot, off-road test-track to demonstrate the rugged-terrain handling and
maneuverability of the Land Rover vehicles.
Heading the lineup of vehicles at the new facility is the new Discovery
Series II of the Land Rover line and the upgraded Range Rover model.
A 50-year Hallmark of British engineering, Land Rover's new Discovery Series
II is reportedly the most technologically-advanced Land Rover ever produced,
with new Self-Leveling Suspension and Active Cornering Enhancement options
for better cornering, response and passenger comfort.
The upgraded Range Rover is rated as one of the best vehicles in the
competitive luxury Sport Utility Vehicle market and is billed as a suitable
alternative to a luxury sedan.
Founded in 1976, Warren Henry Automobiles is a family-owned South Florida
automobile dealership group, with each of the dealerships consistently
ranking in the top ten in sales nationally.
