Seidel was honored in front of 425 attendees during the association's annual installation luncheon at the Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables.

The award was presented to Seidel by Walter Ernest, 1999 president of the DCAR. The President's Award is a special honor presented for distinguished service to the organization. The winner is selected personally by the president and recognized in front of his or her peers.

"The President's Award is the highest honor presented to our membership," said Martha Bullman, executive vice president of the DCAR. "Charlette was recognized for her years of dedicated service to our organization, fellow peers and our industry. She represents the professionalism all Realtors strive to uphold."

Seidel has been an active member of the DCAR since 1973. She currently presides as chair of the organization's professional standards and ethics committee and has assisted with the association's professional development efforts and activities.

A 27-year veteran of the real estate business, Seidel has managed the Coral Gables Coldwell Banker office since 1978. With 80 full-time sales associates, the Coral Gables Coldwell Banker branch is the company's No. 1 office in Miami-Dade County, and is ranked among the top 20 percent of more than 700 Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate offices nationwide. The Coral Gables branch also has earned Premier Office status, the highest honor given to Coldwell Banker Real Estate offices for consistent demonstration of exceptional performance and dedication.

Seidel's personal accomplishments include being named to the Coldwell Banker President's Council, an elite group of branch sales managers in the top 20 percent of the company. She holds a Florida real estate broker's license and has earned the Certified Residential Broker (CRB), Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) and Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS) designations from the National Association of Realtors.
