Josie Wang, the top realtor of the Pinecrest office of Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate, has been named the company’s No. 1 Sales Associate in South Florida for the first half of 1999.

Charlie Louis, president of Coldwell Banker South Florida, recently honored Wang at the company’s annual "Breakfast of Champions" event held at the Westin Hotel in Fort Lauderdale.

Between January and June 1999, Wang generated in excess of $24 million of new business and closed more than $18 million in sales. Included and adding to her accomplishments, she was responsible for the highest sale in Pinecrest. Sold in June for $3.5 million, the five-acre estate with six bedrooms, eight-and-one-half baths with tennis and racquetball courts, is the highest price on record ever paid for a home in the Village of Pinecrest. In December 1998, Wang also brokered the highest sale on record for a Coconut Grove waterfront residence, which was $3.2 million for a seven-bedroom, eight-and-one-half bath, tri-level home located in The Anchorage, a small gated enclave on Biscayne Bay.

A Coldwell Banker Previews Property Specialist, Wang specializes in the sale of custom luxury residential real estate properties throughout Coral Gables, Coconut Grove, Key Biscayne, Miami Beach, Pinecrest, Palmetto, the Falls, East Kendall and the waterfront area of Miami.

For her accomplishments, she has established membership in the Coldwell Banker South Florida Chairman’s Advisory Council, and the International President’s Elite, comprised of the top 1 percent of all 70,000 Coldwell Banker sales associates throughout North America. Consistently since 1994, Wang has earned either the No. 1 or No .2 spot for all real estate sales associates in Miami-Dade County. She has also been named one of the "MegaBrokers of Florida" by Unique Homes magazine annually since 1989, and is an advisory board member of the Master Brokers Forum, a professional organization comprised of the Top 200 of Miami’s elite residential real estate professionals.
