Walkaround that features V-berth design and an aft-cabin berth for
more comfortable family boating and fishing.

Century 2900 WA will satisfy serious
anglers and is versatile enough
for family cruising

"Last year we introduced the 2900 CC, targeted to
the growing kingfish market, and the 3100 WA, the flagship of our
line," said Century sales manager Bob Dardenne. "We've
combined the performance characteristics of the 2900 CC with the
luxury and amenities of the 3100 WA and the result is our new 2900 WA.
Our new 2900 Walkaround will satisfy the needs of serious anglers, yet
it's versatile enough to take the family to the Bahamas or a cruise on
the Intercoastal."
In the main cabin, there is a comfortable V-berth with
a convertible dinette table. The stand-up head features a shower,
sink, vanity, dry storage, 12-volt lighting and a marine head. A
foredeck hatch with screen provides extra ventilation.
The galley features a stove, microwave and AC/DC
refrigerator, sink with simulated granite countertop and dinette
table. The cabin cushions and bolsters have matching graphics. A
30-amp shore power connection provides power for a battery charger and
two duplex 110V outlets. Century also offers shore power air
conditioning as an option.
The raised cockpit deck on the 2900 WA provides plenty
of visibility and more fishing room aft. The helm features deluxe
captain's chairs, a stainless steel steering wheel with foam grip,
full instrumentation and a console electronics box with a lockable
door.
The 2900 WA lives up to Century's fishing heritage.
There are two 45-gallon port and star board fish boxes with macerated
overboard pumps, a 45-gallon aerated bait well, transom sink with
cutting boards and raw and a freshwater wash.
There is plenty of rod storage, with a molded
starboard rod box and four stainless steel gunwale rod holders.
For swimming and diving there is an integrated dive
platform, transom door and removable stainless steel boarding ladder.
The 2900WA has a nine-foot, six-inch beam for maximum
stability. There's plenty of cruising range, with a 250-gallon fuel
capacity and a maximum horsepower rating of 500. Dry weight without
the outboards is 5,300 pounds. A new 10-year hull warranty is standard
and all Century boats feature Yamaha outboard power.
