Suzanne Anderson said she
became a Realtor quite unintentionally.
But, its a career change shes incredibly happy with,
because she has become one of the top producing Realtors in the United States.

Suzanne Anderson
"The intent was not to get into real estate as a career," she
explained. "It was more to have a license for investment purposes, to pick up a
property here and there."
But after she got her license she interviewed with
Esslinger-Wooten-Maxwell, liked what she saw and immediately came to work for the company.
"EWM has an image and a respect from other brokers in the
community unlike any other company," she said. "I feel like this is a home;
its a very friendly place. The image is terrific and the people who run the company
are great people. Theyre always there when you need them."
Anderson, 39, is a 14-year Pinecrest resident and a divorced mother of
two children, Melanie, 14, and Tyler, 12. The youngsters attend Palmetto Middle School.
Anderson was born in New York City, but came to Miami as a toddler and
grew up in Miami Lakes. After graduation from Miami-Dade Community College, she worked as
a legal secretary for eight years before her decision to go into real estate.
Among her professional accomplishments is being elected to the Master
Brokers Forum, an elite group of the top five per cent of real estate brokers in the
community. Shes also a consistent annual member of EWMs Chairmans Club
and this year attained the clubs Diamond Level, reserved for brokers whose sales
topped $10 Million for the year.
"I have been consistently in the top 1 percent of the Realtors in
this company year after year," she said proudly.
Anderson, who works out of the EWM Coral Gables office, agrees that the
real estate business is very demanding and requires long hours. But, she says, it is also
very rewarding.
"I do a tremendous amount of corporate re-location work and I work
with a lot of heads of corporations," she said. "I have people that come here
from Latin America, people that work for many of the major corporations that have their
Latin American hub here in South Florida. Ive enjoyed all of the people Ive
met and Ive met people from all over the world."
But, it is not all work for Anderson. She enjoys the arts and does
volunteer work for the Lowe Arts Gallery at the University of Miami.
Anderson is an avid tennis player, plays in the South Florida
Womens Tennis League and is a member of the Royal Palm Tennis Club. She also likes
to run and is a long-time member of the Miami Runners Club. As if all this isnt
enough to keep her fit and trim, she also finds the time to visit the Paradise Gym twice a
week to work out with a personal trainer.
"I love my life very much," she said. "Its
wonderful to have the self-gratification for what I do as a mother, as a Realtor and as a
friend, and also for my family. I feel that I take very good care of the people around
me."
