The Palace Suites in Kendall is celebrating its first
anniversary and has a series of events planned to commemorate the
event.
The Palace Suites, a luxury rental apartment complex
for active older adults, will offer families and invited guests dinner
and dancing June 17, brunch and a three-generation fashion show with
Dominique June 24 and a dinner sing-along of old songs with Jerry Head
on June 30.
The Palace, with studios and one- and two-bedroom
apartments available, offers a unique concept in Miami -- the monthly
rental includes meals, transportation to local malls and doctors'
offices, housekeeping and maintenance, entertainment, a fitness
center, a concierge, SunTrust bank branch just off the lobby, as well
as a convenience store and a beauty salon.
The Palace Suites, 11377 SW 84 Street, with the
entrance to the Palace grounds located at 84th Street and 113th
Avenue, also includes a nursing home and two assisted-living
facilities. The age of residents ranges from the late 60's to the
middle 90's.
