 The
Palmetto Middle School varsity golf team won the Miami-Dade Middle
School Championship for the 13th consecutive year. Palmetto defeated
second place Southwood Middle by a narrow two-shot margin.
The tournament was held at the Palmetto Golf Course,
where eighth grader Rebecca Kuhn, a third-year varsity player, shot a
75 for second place honors. Eighth grader Victor Caballero shot an 82
