 The
Miami Mini Canes 12B team took first place in the Mini-Canes Showdown
Softball Tournament, defeating the East Coast Heat in a defensive game
that saw the pitchers and infielders dominate the action. The game was
won in the middle innings when the Mini Canes' bats came to life and
they posted a 3-0 victory.
