The Coconut Grove Playhouse has a new public relations
representative on staff.
Playhouse officials named 24-year-old Anna Madrigal to
the position. She will be responsible for generating publicity,
writing press releases and maintaining media contact.
Anna Madrigal
Madrigal was born in Queens, New York, but came to
South Florida as a baby. She attended St. Brendan High School,
graduating in 1993. She received her bachelor's degree in mass
communications in December from Florida International University after
interning at Univision Channel 23 and CBS WFOR.
Madrigal says she enjoys traveling and has visited
numerous Caribbean and Latin American countries. She speaks fluent
Spanish and Portuguese.
Madrigal, a Pinecrest native and now a Kendall
resident, is the daughter of Maria and Gustavo Madrigal, owner of
Madrigal Shoes. She has a brother, Gustavo, a 16-
year-old student at Palmetto Senior High School, and a
sister, Claudia, 21, a dentistry student at the University of Florida.
