The Falls, Children's Home Society (CHS), Univision's
Chef Pepin and more than 30 of South Florida's finest restaurants will
join forces on Sunday, Apr. 16, to raise money for South Florida's
abused, neglected and abandoned children.

"Caring Chefs for Kids" at The Falls will
feature an evening of food, entertainment and fun for the entire
family to benefit Children's Home Society, according to Danielle
Spiegelman, marketing director for The Falls.
Guests can stroll amid lush landscaping and flowing
waterfalls while sampling menu items from more than 30 of South
Florida's most renowned restaurants. Participating "Caring
Chefs" include: P. F. Chang's China Bistro, Shula's Steakhouse,
Season's, Mrs. Field's Cookies, Fete Cuisine, Botticelli Trattoria,
Romano's Macaroni Grill, A Joy Wallace Catering, Rusty Pelican
Restaurant, Hyatt Regency Miami, Johnny Rockets, Prezzo, T.G.I
Fridays, Wild Oats Community Market, Barnie's Coffee and Tea Company,
Los Ranchos at The Falls, Pauloluigi's, Health Gate, Grazie Café,
Coco Pazzo Café, Havana Harry's Restaurant, Outback Steakhouse,
Whitney's Restaurant at Miami Dadeland Marriott, Haagen Dazs, Sweet
Donna's Country Store, Café Tu Tu Tango, and more.
Topping off the evening will be Chef Pepin, seen by
millions of viewers daily on Univision's Despierta America, creating
his famous paella in a giant skillet. The internationally renowned
Chef will greet and sign autographs for guests while they savor the
paella large enough to feed 1,000 people.
In addition to the great food, guests will enjoy live
music and entertainment for the kids, including face painting,
magicians, and a special spring petting zoo featuring baby chicks and
bunnies.
The event, sponsored by Carnival Cruise Lines,
AT&T Wireless, Windmere Corporation, Empire Seafood Inc., F. S. T.
International Inc., and the Wollowick Family Foundation, will take
place between 7 and 10 p.m. at The Falls.
Tickets are $50 for adults, $20 for children under 13
years of age and free for children under 2. To purchase tickets, call

All proceeds from this event will benefit the
Children's Home Society. CHS provides quality and effective programs
in the areas of adoption, foster care, maternity care, child abuse and
neglect prevention, family and individual counseling, emergency
shelters, and group homes for at-risk, abused, neglected, abandoned,
medically-needy and/or developmentally disabled children, teens and
families.
The Falls shopping center, located at the intersection
of S. Dixie Highway (US 1) and SW 136th Street, is one of the largest
open-air shopping, dining and entertainment complexes in the U.S.
featuring Bloomingdale's, Macy's and more than 100 stores, restaurants
and cafes and a 12-screen movie theater.
