Response to Precision Fitness Equipment's new
showroom, located at 9492 South Dixie Highway, has been overwhelming.
It is the fourth Florida location for the 10-year-old company that is
the exclusive Florida distributor of LifeFitness exercise equipment.
The company plans to open a fifth showroom in Fort Myers soon.
The new showroom features a complete line of
commercial and home exercise equipment from many of the industry's top
manufacturers, including Parabody, Schwinn, Hammer Strength and Hoist,
as well as LifeFitness. Among the more popular items featured in the
store are treadmills, bikes, steppers, cross trainers and home gyms.
"We were looking for a location that would serve
Miami-Dade and Monroe County residents as people become more and more
interested in exercising at home," said Richard Wasserlauf,
President of Precision Fitness Equipment. "This site fit that
objective perfectly."
Precision Fitness Equipment, one of the top five
exercise equipment dealers in the country, is one of Florida's largest
suppliers of cardiovascular and weight training equipment to
commercial fitness facilities.
Wasserlauf says the home fitness equipment industry is
growing at a rapid pace and caters not only to the individual who
prefers to exercise at home, but also to the health club member who
wants to compliment a regular health club routine.
Precision Fitness Equipment also has showrooms in
Hollywood, Tampa and Orlando. The company's Hollywood facility is the
largest of its kind in the state. Precision showrooms are staffed by a
team of consultants who understand the business of fitness and are
